PERSON OF INDIAN ORIGIN (PIO) CARD

  • Application for a PIO Card is accepted in the Embassy of India, Caracas - Venezuela, only from an entitled applicant who is ordinarily resident of Venezuela or the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. Proof of residence (copy of driving licence or utility bill or bank statement) should accompany the application.
     

  • The PIO Card application and the required enclosures be mailed to:

  • The envelope should be boldly marked PIO CARD APPLICATION.
     

  • For those staying in India on a long-term visa, application may be made through the following authorities:

    a.     Those residing in:

  • DELHI: Foreigners Regional Registration Officer, Level II, East Block VIII, R. K. Puram, Sector I, New Delhi.

  • MUMBAI: Foreigners Regional Registration Officer, Annexe II, Commissioner of Police, Crawford Market, Mumbai 400001.

  • KOLKATA: Foreigners Regional Registration Officer, 237, Acharya Jagdish Chandra Bose Road, Kolkata 700020.

  • AMRITSAR: Additional Deputy Director, Bureau of Immigration, B/123 Ranjeet Avenue, Amritsar.

  • CHENNAI: Chief Immigration Officer, Bureau of Immigration, Shastri Bhavan Annexe, No. 26, Haddows Road, Chennai 600006.
