The 2nd International Day of Non Violence and Mahtma Gandhi's 139th Birth Anniversary were celebrated at Plaza Gandhi in Caricuao with  the help of the Ministry of Exterior Relations and the Mayor of Libertador.  National Anthems of the two countries were played by the Military Band followed by offering of garlands by the Ambassador, the President of Friends of Gandhi Association and the Indian Association. Gandhi’s favaourite Bhajans were played.
