| FALCONS RAILWAY WILL TAKE OFF BY THE END OF THE YEAR The Governor, Jesus Montilla Aponte, announced that after the discussions till date, the railway, which will cover the route Moron till Punto Fijo, could be taken up by the end of 2006 or early 2007. He said this after a meeting with the Ambassador of India in Venezuela , Deepak Bhojwani, who yesterday visited Coro . The Regional Governor expressed his satisfaction on having the opportunity to receive the diplomat again after his visit in March 2005, when the Ambassador had visited the State, and on which occasion they had discussed the importance and the fundamental theme for Falcon, the construction of the railway Moron-Punto Fijo. In this sense, he conveyed that the investment for this project would be around US$500 million, and the commercial terms would be through Fonden, as decided by the President of the Republic, Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias, who completely supported the carrying out of this essential railway for Falcon. It also should be mentioned that in 2005, the Regional Governor, along with the Ambassador of India, took steps to push the project at the level of the Central Government, achieving the signature of the Letter of Intent; drawing up an analysis of the overall contract, and all that is left is the commercial contract to be signed by President Chavez. As indicated earlier, the Governor expressed that by 2006 or early 2007, the construction of the railway should commence, which would be yet another work which President Chavez supports towards sustainable development of Falcon State . India 's contribution As regards the agency which would build the railway line, Governor Montilla announced that it would be executed by India , given the experience of that country in this area, which has an enormous network of this form of transport, which is extremely economical and convenient. The Ambassador, in the name of his country, expressed his gratitude for the attention given during his visit in Falconian territory, by the Regional Government as well as the Municipality, and affirming the Governor's words about the wailway, where he expects India will contribute all its technology in the area of feasibility, engineering and, if necessary, raw material. THE AMBASSADOR OF INDIA TALKED ABOUT THE LIFE OF GENERALÍSIMO FRANCISCO DE MIRANDA In the setting of the programming of the 200 years of the visit of Generalisimo Francisco de Miranda to Falconian coasts, yesterday the Ambassador from India Deepak bhojwani was in the city of Coro to attend a Solemn Session where this illustrious visitor was condecorated and also received the keys of our city on behalf of the Mayor of the city Rafael Pineda. The Authorities of the Municipal Chamber attended the session as well as other special guests from the city. When interviewed by the regional media, the Ambassador of India Deepak Bhojwani indicated that "he was very happy to be in the city of Coro for the second time, gladly it hasn't changed and may it remain for centuries a patrimony of humanity.” Likewise, Ambassador Deepak Bhojwani indicated that his presence was also due to the ongoing celebration of the 200 year anniversary of Francisco de Miranda, during which the authorities will carry out significative events for this country. On the other hand the Ambassador manifested that he is in the city to give a conference where he points out that Francisco de Miranda has a lot to do with India , since both countries endured the colonial experience and were set free from thos chains of colonialism.
