REQUISITES FOR PROCESSING OF WORK PERMIT FOR FOREIGN WORKERS
(PRIVATE SECTOR)
 

DIRECT HIRING
Any private entity requiring the hiring of foreign qualified personnel must present the following requirements:


Requisites for the petitioner (Employer)

  1. Copy of the Mercantile Registry, Constitutive Document and last Ordinary Board Meeting.
  2. Employment Declaration Form, hours worked and salaries paid, updated. (Resolution of the Ministry of Employment N°. 3.294)
  3. Registration of the Enterprise in the National Employment Service (Employment Agencies of the Ministry of Employment) according to the geographic location of the aforementioned.
  4. Payroll of Venezuelan and Foreign personnel, with identification data of the workers (Name and Last Name, ID Card N°,  Nationality, Migratory Condition and Position currently held).
  5. Notarized authorization to a representative of the Institution to process the Working Permit accompanied by copies of the ID Cards of the person issuing the authorization and the person presenting the request.
  6. INCE (National Institute of Educational Cooperation) solvency.
  7. IVSS (Venezuelan Institute of Social Security) solvency (last three payments)


Requisites for the candidate

  1. Updated Curriculum Vitae (for non-professional workers this document must be legalized and/or authenticated).
  2. Notarized Job Offer.
  3. Copy of the entire Passport.
  4. Certificates and/or Diplomas of Studies, translated into Spanish (if need be), legalized by the Venezuelan Consulate or with     an authentication for the countries that have signed the Agreement of The Hague.
  5. Employment justification letter (specifying the position, years of service in the area, functions to fulfill and motive for employment). It shall be signed, sealed and be drafted on company letterhead and accompanied by a copy of the ID Card of     the person signing the communication.
  6. Employment Offer Format, issued by the Directorate of Migrant Labor (filled with typewriter or capital letters, without amendments and in accordance with the instructive notes contained in it, in original and copy).
  7. Forward facing photograph

TRANSFER OF QUALIFIED PERSONNEL

Any private entity requiring the transfer of foreign qualified personnel must present the following requirements:


Requisites for the petitioner (Employer)

  2. Employment Declaration Form, hours worked and salaries paid, updated. (Resolution of the Ministry of Employment N°. 3.294)
  3. Payroll of Venezuelan and Foreign personnel, with identification data of the workers (Name and Last Name, ID Card N°, Nationality, Migratory Condition and Position currently held).
  4. Registration of the Company in the National Employment Service (Employment Agencies of the Ministry of Employment) according to the geographic location of the aforementioned.
  5. Copy of the Notarized power of attorney of the representative of the company to process the Working Permit accompanied by a copy of the ID Card.
  6. INCE (National Institute of Educational Cooperation) solvency.
  7. IVSS (Venezuelan Institute of Social Security) solvency (last three payments)

SET UP OF EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY
Any private entity requiring the transfer of foreign qualified personnel must present the following requirements:


Requisites for the petitioner (Employer)

  2. Registration of the Company in the National Employment Service (Employment Agencies of the Ministry of Employment) according to the geographic location of the aforementioned.
  3. Employment Declaration Form, hours worked and salaries paid, updated. (Resolution of the Ministry of Employment N°. 3.294)
  4. Payroll of Venezuelan and Foreign personnel, with identification data of the workers (Name and Last Name, ID Card N°, Nationality, Migratory Condition and Position currently held).
  5. Negotiation Agreement for Equipments (Purchase, Sale , Lease, etc.) indicating the data of the equipment or machinery (model, brand, serial including the clauses relating to the installation service by foreign personnel) and information regarding the installing personnel.
  6. Authorization to a representative of the Institution to process the Working Permit accompanied by copies of the ID Cards of the person issuing the authorization and the person presenting the request.
  7. INCE solvency (National Institute of Educational Cooperation).
  8. IVSS solvency (Venezuelan Institute of Social Security) (last three payments)
